During winter storms the sand can quickly drift and accumulate around the property sometimes affecting the ocean view.
Although we make every effort to remove the sand and preserve the view prior to your stay, the winter weather makes this difficult to predict and views may not be guaranteed.
Layout: One level home. Enclosed deck entrance. Living room , dining room, kitchen and 1/2 bath. Master bedroom with king bed and full bath. 2nd Master bedroom with ocean view, king bed and full bath. 3rd bedroom with double bed & double/twin bunk . Full hall bath. 4th bedroom has queen bed, full bath, and loft area with 2 twin beds.

Neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

Most homes require guests to be at least 24 years old.
Cancellation Policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).
Occupancy Note: Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
For Summer Bookings between 7/1-9/4: There may not be one or two day gaps. So if you book a stay allowing this type of gap between bookings, you may be asked to cancel or move dates. We apologize for inconvenience but the online booking system does not allow for this type of rule.

“FIVE STARS Beautiful setting, great house Once a year, I gather my kids and their families for a few days together. This house worked out great for us as there was plenty of room for the kids to play and the adults to visit. Location was awesome as we could walk to the Rock and Coffee. The sleeping arrangements were good as two bedrooms had additional beds. Working with Kawanda coastal properties was easy and fun.”

“FIVE STARS! Perfect beachfront property This was our 2nd stay at Bailey's place and 3rd time at Kiwanda Shores. This rental is great. Layout and furnishings are ample for family groups (we were 5 adults and 2 kiddos.) Fully stocked kitchen with good pots, pans, utensils etc. Plenty of towels, bedding etc. Even included all the paper and plastic products needed for our 9 day stay (how many rentals are so well stocked?). Some sandiness of floors/window wells, but not surprising at the beach.”
