About this home
Cozy Casa is located in the redwoods of Mendocino County. It is a brand new split level apartment with 2 rooms upstairs and one downstairs in the garage. The garage space doubles for a second living room and has an outdoor bathhouse around the back of the home. The top space has a beautiful view of Jackson State Forest and is five minutes away from our beautiful coast. There is one complete bathroom upstairs and an outdoor bathhouse with the same view of the forest.
The space
The upstairs space has an open floor plan. The rooms are identical with two windows each. The garage room is smaller, but with a view of the forest. The bathroom upstairs is simple with the basics. The outdoor bathhouse is fun and adventurous and great to wash sand of your feet or view the forest while you bathe.
Guest access
The property is in the forest and a five minute drive from Highway 1 and our beautiful Coast. It is in the neighborhood with the local Veterinarian and a few other distant neighbors. There are horses on the property as well as a main home that we, the owners reside in. Parking is easy and right up front. The only access that is not available is the other half of the downstairs garage where tools are stored.
Other things to note
We live in the main house next door on the same property. We have half of the garage locked off for our tools and workspace. Every once in a while we enter into the garage for our supplies, but it is not where guest’s stay. There is some shared parking and yard space, but plenty of room for all. We enjoy hosting and having guests, but we give lots of space and privacy.
